餐廳

在美國, 大部分餐廳皆可使用credit card, 但有小部分餐館只收現金. 所以, 進入之前記得看一下門口是否有貼接受信用卡的mark. 到餐廳吃飯都要給小費, 為總價的10%(Lunch) or 15%(Dinner). 但你若是很滿意或不滿意其服務, 可酌量增減. 美國的服務業並不是次等行業, 記得對服務生多說Thanks & Please哦!
對於三餐大事, 留學生多數還是選擇在家自己煮, 一則省時, 二則省錢.通常這裡大家常去買菜的超市有中國及美國超市兩大類. 在去超市購物之前別忘了注意其Sale information, 像是買一送一或打折卷(coupon).通常這些皆可在你家信箱收到. 若物品正在Sale卻缺貨(如買一送一時, 想買的東西架上只剩一件), 可告知收銀員你要先付錢, 請他開Rain Check給你, 下次憑此取貨.若想了解Davis的各式商店, 可上Davis Wiki查詢

這個大學城的各國美食可多囉! 由於來自世界各地的學生都有其對食物上的家鄉需求, 所以這麼一個小城竟有如此多種的選擇, 令人驚奇, 也是老饕不可不試的難得機會! 至於中國菜和日本,韓國菜在Sacramento也有許多非常值得推薦的餐廳. 有空不妨犒賞一下辛苦讀書的自己吧!

這家因為店面較大, 又有充滿印度風味的設計, 很受外國人歡迎! 不過當然比較貴一些. 中午的lunch buffet比Ruju更豐富, 可以試試!

若想試試道地的美式傳統食物, 此家全美的連鎖餐廳可不能錯過! 除了餐點之外, 這裡的pie也是滿有名的. 不過, 對東方人來說可能會甜了一些.
